Always follow the care instructions on the product page and the garment label. These general tips help your pieces last.

Crochet
- Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent.
- Do not wring or twist. Press water out gently with a towel.
- Dry flat in shape, away from direct heat. Never hang crochet while wet, as the weight stretches the stitches.
- Store folded rather than on a hanger.
Cotton gauze & embroidered blouses
- Cool gentle machine wash (30°C) inside out, or hand wash.
- Do not tumble dry. Line dry in the shade.
- Crinkled gauze is designed to be worn unironed. If you prefer, warm iron on the reverse, avoiding embroidery.
Viscose (kimonos, printed blouses and skirts)
- Hand wash cold or use a cool delicate cycle. Viscose is weaker when wet, so handle gently.
- Line dry in the shade; strong sunlight can fade prints.
- Cool iron on the reverse while slightly damp. Do not tumble dry.
- Viscose can shrink slightly if washed warm; always wash cool.
Beaded necklaces & anklets
- Put jewellery on last, after perfume, sunscreen and lotions.
- Keep necklaces away from water. Remove anklets before swimming or bathing where possible; waxed cotton cord softens with wear.
- Store necklaces flat or hung separately to avoid tangling.
Brass bangles
- Brass is a natural alloy that darkens (oxidises) over time. This is normal and not a fault.
- Brass can occasionally leave a faint green or dark mark on skin; this washes off with soap and water.
- Polish with a soft, dry cloth. Remove before swimming, showering or exercising, and store dry.
